5th May 2023 marked the first anniversary of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advanced Research (SVICCAR). The hospital staff, comprising dedicated doctors, nurses, and support personnel, celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm.
The event kicked off with a rangoli competition among the nursing staff, setting a festive atmosphere for the rest of the day. Following this, the SVICCAR team gathered to reflect on their journey and accomplishments over the past year.
Several patients who had undergone treatment at SVICCAR were also invited to share their experiences. Each of them described the exceptional level of compassionate care they received, highlighting how they were able to access all the necessary treatments without having to travel long distances.
SVICCAR’s sister hospital, Ranchi Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, and Tata Cancer Care Foundation too joined in the celebrations virtually. The event concluded with all attendees coming together to sign a board in commemoration of this milestone occasion.
