Dr NTR Vaidya Seva is a health insurance scheme by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh that provides quality universal health coverage to families with limited income. Known previously as Aarogyasri, this scheme is a unique Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the field of health insurance. It is tailor-made to serve the health needs of patients from weaker sections and provides end-to-end cashless services for identified diseases under secondary and tertiary care through a network of service providers from the government and private sector.
Households with an annual income below ₹5 Lakh and people with less than 35 acres of land (both dry and wet land) are eligible for the scheme.
SVICCAR has been empanelled with Dr NTR Vaidya Seva since 15 October, 2022 to cover all cancer modalities like Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. SVICCAR provides cashless treatment to all eligible beneficiaries under this scheme. As of August 2024, more than 5,000 patients have benefitted under this scheme.
